Addison, this is crucial work. From an administrative perspective, we’ve found that involving nurses in the alert threshold setting process has helped reduce alert fatigue. Have you considered a tiered alert system?

We’ve been working on a dynamic threshold system that adapts based on individual patient baselines and unit-wide trends. It’s shown promise in reducing false positives without compromising sensitivity.

Have you explored incorporating more diverse data sources? We’ve seen improvements by integrating genomic markers and social determinants of health into our sepsis prediction models.
